What a fun trip !!! i would love to go back and visit them again !! We learnt lots of things and made lots of new friends !!! What a nice memory ... ! Therefore i will end this blog and .... --- .... please please read the book : Analects , and learn from it :)

Of course , we must have a home visit . If we didn't , wouldn't the trip be a failure ? :)

The host's mother taught us how to make dumpling when we were there ( the very first picture ; i can't pull it down...what a failure :( )

During the visit in LiCheng Er Zhong , everyone was given a buddy , and my buddy , Wang Yan , welcomed me with open arms . We had fun talking and sharing about our life in China and Singapore respectively . I don't have a picture of him , or rather no one took it , but if you met him , you would want to make friends with him ( most likely :) ) .

Before the trip , i thought that i would spend the 10 days with only my classmates , Danah Lee & Wong Afina . But thanks to them (my tourmates) , i opened a part in me that was once void . After getting to know their names and recognizing their faces , i got to understand them more .They produced fun into a trip that most people would consider as boring . A once anti-social person like me , after befriending them , had my confidence and courage built .

During the 10 days of fun and learning in China , you gotta have a hotel to be in right ? Well , everyone had a roommate and now i will tell you more about him . During that 10 days , my roommate , Amos Seow and i had fun in the hotel room ( i think it's a one-track thinking) partying and watching some weird show on TV . Its a first time for me to share a room with a stranger ( not only did i just met him) , so , you can guess , the atmosphere is kinda awkward . But , i managed to live through it and made a new friend :) Amos is fun-loving person , and is a major fanatic of Basketball . So , most of the channels that we watched are about Basketball . Here is a picture of him :

sry i forgot to write the date for the previous post . its 3rd nov2007 =.=

ok , let's get down to business .

when we were about to go to the schl , namely Licheng ErZhong(濟南市歷城第二中學)

(impressive , huh ?)everyone was very excited to see it . alot of us imagined it to be the school thats like very old , but when we got there , we were practically knocked off our feet ! it was grand ! huge ! MORDERN ! almost 100x bigger than Chai Chee sec ...=.=

the principal(i think he was there) and teachers(a few) warmly welcomed us with a gigantic banner that wrote something like 歡迎尚志中學師生來到歷城第二中!(something nearly like that i think ... my memory has gotten FUZZY T.T) . after a while , we saw the students marching out in groups(classes) , doin their daily morning exercise . we were kinda shocked at first , but when the guides and the teacher told us that it was what they do everyday we were relieved of the shock .

after a while of watching , we were brought to the meeting room(?) to meet with our buddy and to know more about the school . then , we had luch in their canteen (alot bigger than ours) which was appetizing . thats it for today .

1st day in China , SHANDONG=)

it was beautiful ! the moment we were in China's Beijing airport , it was breath-takingly pain-stakingly appallingly pretty ! the scenery was nice , so was the weather . but after the 7 hrs of flight , u can say that everyone was tired , and so we headed to the hotel , TaoRan ShangWu Hotel(陶然商務大酒店) . the hotel was nice too ! so we slept in for the night . :)

A few days b4 the Trip:)

we had a SMALL gathering with Mr. Loke , our principal . He told us about Shandong , China and what we should bring to enjoy and protect ourselves from the extreme weather we were about to face .
